How to correctly Start the game (by one of the devs)

If you are just starting the game (or you prestiged) there are many ways to follow up. One way I think as the best way to correctly start is by following the strategy I will write below:

Use your entire default army for NPC. Wipe it using the /npc command. You will have to do roughly 3 npc attacks for such.
After this you can now recruit from 9-12 assassins. The reason why I choose assassins and not any other troops even though it is faster for them to recruit , is because 9-12 assassins will take 9-12 minutes (which isn't long imo) and give you a handful of attacks, enough to recruit about 35-40 assassins the next time you are wiped.
35-40 assassins will take 35-40 minutes, which will then give you a lot and when i mean a lot , a lot of attacks equivalent to a lot of gold. Keep running /npc until you are out of assassins.
Now you have made enough gold to think to alternate the types of troops in your army. However I would still choose continuing with assassins. Now they take a lot of time , but knowing the fact that they are worth a lot in /prestige , I would always choose them.
After the recruit of whatever amount of assassins, you now have two options: keep looting NPCs (5.1) until you are wiped again or start attacking events(5.2).
5.1 Until your fat army of assassins are out , you will have looted a ton of gold from NPCs. That would allow you to know recruit 1000s of assassins from recruit slots.
5.1.1 After this , NPCs aren't quite of a worthy thing to grind for gold. Now you would only want to grind them for rubies or food (you can get tokens from event attacks). However I would think that after you wipe your army away then to first start grinding the event until you get a good cosmetic and good amount of silver, as not only does silver help in /silver shop to purchase troops (in case a friend of your alliance needs troops, you can purchase there and send, with no need to spend your troops) but also adds points to /prestige alongside event skins. You have enough army to alternate your types of troops now.
5.2 Attacking events should now be easy. Wait for samurai event as it is the best event. Low cooldowns, low damage dealt to your army and high loot. You may decide to wipe your army away with event attacks to loot points as gold won't be a problem and you can always purchase troops from silver shop with the silver you loot from events. After a good amount of points , you can go back to NPCs.
Don't forget towers. They are majestic for ruby loot and (now that I'm writing) there aren't that many active players , so you can find free towers at almost any time at any server. In case it gets busy , you can set alarms to your phone or notifications to pop up in order to remember and loot. A handful of 5-6 servers constantly looted, will satisfy for max level upgrade for all the three buildings no matter the prestige level.
I strongly suggest you get an alliance as soon as you can. Not only because people will find it easier to attack you as you have no one to counter attack , but also because you can get help by other people. They can send troops etc.

Would personally recommend recruiting artilleries as they take less time and not much of difference b/w assassins and artilleries depending on their other stats such as Gold, Time Taken and attack power.

Using some simple maths,

Time for 1 artillery = 12 seconds
Artilleries per minute = 60/12 = 5
Attack power = 5*90 = 450

Time for 1 assassin = 1 minute
Attack power = 1 * 150 = 150

Therefore, it's proven that in early game, artillery's are worth more than assassins. When you're starting out, you need to quickly get troops and resources, waiting around for assassins isn't the best. Ofcourse it's going to cost more gold, but they're worth it. Food isn't a problem as they'll get wiped out instantly
