With our recent release of our API, here is how to obtain an API Key with Will of Steel. Before continuing with this tutorial, you must have reached Prestige 5 as API Keys are unlocked at that point. This requirement is to be changed to make APIs more accessible later on, but as of now the API may have many bugs and issues.
To check if you have met the requirements to obtain the API Key, please run /shop and an API Key should show as an option (6)
Once completed the above, you’ll have to buy/generate the API Key. To do that, you will need to run /buy with the item_id field set to 6 (Item ID of API Key)
Congratulations! You now have an API Key. Verify that it starts with WoS-, if it does not please take a screenshot and share it with us.
Please store this API Key carefully as it will never be shown to you again.
What to do when I lost my key?
Don’t panic, we’re here to help. To get your API Key, you’ll first need to create a support request on the forums or message us directly on Discord (@itsneil or @thefabolousdust). We’ll get you your API Key back but you may have to wait 24 hours.
